"Decoy" was a terrific and ground-breaking police drama television series. It was the first police drama television series to shoot on location in New York City. It was the first police drama television series to feature a policewoman in the lead role. It was one of the first police drama television series' to tackle real-life controversial subjects. Each episode was dedicated to the Bureau of Policewomen of the New York Police Department. Beverly Garland was perfect in the role of police officer Casey Jones.
